If that&#039;s the official ruling, it says a lot about the quality of the work being done by our representatives, as well as the power and inclination of speakers/presidents to keep our representatives managing rather than gaming.

Perhaps a compromise: you can only send out Hansard extracts quoting those NOT in your political party, that way, any such statements cannot be electioneering for you.  Unless, of course, your political opponent thinks their own words are political liabilities.</description>
