  2. Does the difference in male and female height translate to the difference in earnings?

    Average female height is 5’6″. Does a man who is that height earn roughly the same as the average woman?

    I suspect not, but it may explain some of the difference.

  3. It could also be an example of the halo effect — attractive people are usually considered smarter, more honest etc, which would have a positive effect on advancement.
